This area encompasses Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
The Birmingham (AL) Chapter is one of three chapters in the Birmingham metropolitan area. Members of our chapter are role models, mentors, newsmakers, activists, and volunteers who work to promote and engage in educational, civic, and intercultural activities that improve the lives of people in the communities we serve. This website highlights the events and activities we have engaged in to make a positive difference in our immediate community, nationally and internationally.
Since our Chapter’s founding in 1956, we have consistently upheld the tenets of our organization through service and sisterhood. Our community outreach is performed through five facets: Services to Youth, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, The Arts, and Health and Human Services. We invite you to take a look at our impactful programs and consider partnering with us to create positive transformations in our community and in the lives of people who live in them.
