Monday Morning Inspiration

Good Morning My Beautiful Link Sisters
I hope your day is off to an amazing start. Today’s message is simple and I hope it resonates with each of you.
There are times when I know immediately what God wants me to share with you and there are times when someone simply says something in a message or makes a comment that I feel we all need to hear. Today’s thoughts are a little bit of both.
I was thinking about what it takes to be a high-performing organization and what has to happen for an organization to remain high performing. My thought this morning is that we are definitely equipped with all that we need in order to be a high-performing organization. So, let’s keep doing all that we are doing, and let’s always think about what it will take for us to consistently and constantly reach higher heights; higher heights individually, higher heights in our community, and higher heights in our organization. There is no doubt in my mind that we were all placed in the organization for various reasons. Let’s just take a moment to think about why we are here.
Take a moment to think about whether we are giving our best to the chapter. Take a moment to think about if we are giving our best to ourselves and our families. And if you feel that you are not, then take a moment to think about why. I am currently in the process of doing this, not just for our chapter but for other things in my life, so I felt very strongly led to share with each of you and challenge each of you to just think about it.
My challenge to each of us this morning is to be our best selves. If we are not our best selves, we can’t give our best to ourselves, our families, or our organization(s). As I come to the end of this message, I am thinking that the reality is that we probably should not give our all to any one thing because we will likely not have anything left for ourselves, our families or our organization(s). Let’s be all that we can be but let’s take care of ourselves in the process. Let’s be our best selves so that we can give our best first to ourselves and our families. When we reach that point, we will be equipped to do all that God has for us to do and we can really serve as an encouragement to others.
Today’s Scriptures:
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.”
3 John 3-4 “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
Today’s Prayer: God, we thank you for allowing us to serve and grow in our great chapter. Thank you for all of the strength you have given each of us and yes, we know our strength comes from you. Thank you for reminding us this morning that we have limits. Thank you for reminding us to love and help others by your strength and not our own, help us to make space for self-care because you desire for us to find rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Help us to know the difference between striving to help others, and letting you lead us to help. Help each of us to know individually and collectively when, where, and how you want us to serve.
In Your Son Jesus’ Name, Amen!!
