Monday Morning Inspiration

Good Morning My Beautiful Link Sisters,
I hope that today is the beginning of an awesome, productive and amazing week for each of you. First a big Happy Mother’s Day to all who are biological mothers, stepmothers, aunts and even friends who stand in the gap for many of the children in your lives.
As it often happens, I found a poem that I shared a few years ago and I think it’s perfect for any group of family members and friends. It is titled *Everyone Needs Someone *by Helen Steiner Rice:
*Everyone Needs Someone**People need people and friends need friends,*
*And we all need love, for a full live depends*
*Not on vast riches or great acclaim,*
*Not on success or worldly fame,*
*But on just knowing that someone cares*
*And holds us close in their thoughts and prayers…*
*For only the knowledge that we’re understood*
*Makes everyday living feel wonderfully good…*
*And we rob ourselves of life’s greatest need*
*When we lock up our hearts and fail to heed*
*The outstretched hand reaching to find*
*A kindred spirit whose heart and mind*
*Are lonely and longing for someone to share*
*Our joys and sorrows and make us aware*
*That life’s completeness and richness depend*
*On things we share with our loved ones and friends.*

I am sure we can all identify with this, due to the many things, good and bad, that we have experienced. So, in return for all that we have endured and survived, let’s remember to help as many people as God assigns to us. We have a part to play, so let’s do our part by following God’s plan and in return, He will ensure that we are taken care of. Let’s do our part and never forget how we got where we are. We did not get where we are alone. We did not get here without the outstretched arms and hands of others. We did not get here because of who we are or because of where we came from. We got here because it was pre-arranged and assigned long before we ever knew. Let’s continue to pass it on because everyone needs someone. Let’s start with our chapter and all others that God has assigned to us.
*Today’s Scriptures: * *Psalm 37:23-24 New Living Translation* 23 The directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives 24 Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
*Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation* 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Today’s Prayer: God, we thank you for this day. We thank you for everyone in our chapter who are mothers and those who support mothers and families. As always thank you for choosing us to serve with each other, to serve all who you have assigned to us and those assignments that are yet to come to our chapter and to each of us individually. Lead and guide each of us to all that we need to serve well and all that we need to lead others to serve. Help us to always follow you without hesitation so that we will always be in your favor. God, we love you and thank you for allowing us to serve together as friends. May we continue to be blessed with knowledge, success and prosperity. In your son Jesus name, Amen.
